OUR STORY

Mea Adamson is a passionate horsewoman with a focus on holistic equine wellness. Venturing into fitting from an early career as a groom and equine body worker, her focus is shaped by a commitment to put the horse first.

Upon building her foundation with training from both the Society of Master Saddlers and the Saddler’s Den in the UK, Mea went on to complete an intensive year long apprenticeship in the trade. Her background in bodywork as a certified equine massage therapist offers valuable insight into postural evaluation, a working biomechanical knowledge, and a reverent appreciation of the horse’s opinion.

Growing up in West Yorkshire, England, Mea surrounded herself with horses from a young age (pictured). She began riding the bridle paths around her home, she ventured her way through local saddle clubs riding western pleasure and hunter under saddle before finding her calling with classical dressage and horsemanship. Her greatest teacher is her horse, Catalina, a sensitive mare who is honest to a fault.

Horses have given me more in this life than I can describe, and my commitment is to spend every day giving back to them. I aim to help our community be filled with happier, healthier horses. I pledge to listen louder, share knowledge for their betterment, and to always advocate fiercely for those whose voices can not be heard.
